Modeling and Simulation students visited the Tidewater Community College Planetarium for a behind the scenes look at the 3d graphics used in presentations at the facility. TCC Professor Ken Broun provided students with information about the lasers, software and the controls used to maneuver space objects on the planetarium doom.
Students are creating space objects in a competition with hopes of having their space designs displayed on the planetarium doom in the future.
